Instead, the park headquarters and visitor center are located 80 miles west of the park at the Northwest Arctic Heritage Center in Kotzebue, AK. The Northwest Arctic Heritage Center is the main visitor center for the Western Arctic National Parklands consisting of Kobuk Valley National Park, Cape Krusenstern National Monument, and Noatak National Preserve.
