Did You Know?
The Star Fort was built in late 1780 & completed in early 1781 by Loyalist soldiers & slaves. The eight point Star Fort walls were originally 14 feet high. Today, they are a little weatherworn, but they are original. You can view the original Star Fort at Ninety Six National Historic Site.
