William Henry Jackson
1882
Jackson traveled across America at the behest of railroad companies looking to advertise their routes. The private railcars these rail lines provided were often known as the ‘Jackson Special.’ Jackson is seen here with his second wife Emilie and son Clarence aboard a railcar provided by the Denver & Rio Grande Western Railroad.
