Chief Joseph’s Band Women Leading the Horse Parade

The Nez Perce from the Chief Joseph’s band living on the Colville reservation commemorated July 4th with a horse parade. At the lead of the parade are two women wearing traditional regalia. They are wearing basket hats and have cornhusk bags hanging from their saddles.
