Keys Ranch school house

(Keys Ranch school house)

ca. 1937 — 1942

Bill Keys created the "store room" addition (seen on the left side of the building) as a ca. 1920 kitchen addition for the main ranch house. Originally a cookhouse for the Desert Queen Mine, it was recycled for the second time after a new main house kitchen was added around 1934. It was later moved to the schoolhouse as a storage room for the school.
