US Soldiers Display a Captured Nazi Flag in Chambois, France

Soldiers of the 90th Infantry Division display a captured Nazi flag in Chambois.  The 90th Division, nicknamed the “Tough Ombres,” played a significant part in the destruction of the German forces caught in the trap known as the Falaise Pocket.  This division was part of Patton’s Third Army.
