Army Medics and Wounded on Utah Beach, D-Day

The casualties the 4th Division suffered on Utah Beach were much lighter than the losses of the 1st and 29th Division at Omaha Beach.  Only about 175 soldiers were killed or wounded at Utah Beach as compared to nearly 3,000 Americans killed or wounded at Omaha Beach.  Despite this, the medics still had plenty of work to do.
