Cream Pitcher

Before the Lees’ departure from Arlington House at the outbreak of the Civil War, Mrs. Lee gave this Wedgewood cream pitcher to Selina Gray, one of the house slaves. Selina’s daughter, Annice Baker, returned the pitcher to Arlington House during the 1920s restoration.
