Reservations are not needed to visit the park.

There is no admission fee to the park only a parking fee.

Details
The $10.00 parking fee is a special use fee and is valid for the entire calendar year and is the only fee within the park. This is not a Federal entrance fee, so the America the Beautiful Pass, National Park Passes, Golden Age, Access and Eagle Passports are not accepted. Bus parking fee: $50 for a 24 hour time period.

The National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Annual Pass

Mount Rushmore National Memorial does not accept the Annual Pass, Senior Pass or the Access Pass. These passes are only good for entrance fees and Mount Rushmore does not have an entrance fee.

Mount Rushmore does not have the Annual Pass or the Senior Pass available for purchase at the park. Please contact a neighboring park or purchase the passes online at www.recreation.gov.

Mount Rushmore does issue the Access Pass. Please see a ranger at the Information Center to apply for one of these passes.
