Discover Your Northwest (formerly Northwest Interpretive Association) operates sales outlets at visitor centers throughout the park, offering publications, maps, posters, videos, children's literature, and other informational materials. As a nonprofit organization benefiting educational programs in the national parks and forests of the Pacific Northwest, DYNW plays an important role in making interpretive and educational publications available to travelers. It also funds special interpretive projects in the areas it serves.

Did You Know?
For many years, the Paradise Ice Caves were a popular attraction at Mount Rainier. Until the 1980s, visitors could explore passages within the Paradise Glacier which had formed due to seasonal melting of the ice. By the early 1990s, climate change had melted away the last traces of the caves.
