Can We Reserve the Picnic Shelter?

The covered picnic shelter is available on a first come, first - served basis. However, no one group or family may use the entire shelter. There is no fee for shelter use. Many picnic tables are available outside the shelter as well.

Moores Creek National Military Park, along with other battlefields, was administered by the War Department until 1933 when President Franklin Roosevelt transferred them to the National Park Service within the Department of Interior.
