During the summer, ranger-guided tours are available at sites along the river:

History walk in Yankton's Riverside Park

Tour of the Fort Randall site

Other ranger programs are also scheduled, including illustrated campground talks, movie nights, fishing and canoeing clinics, and hands-on children's activities.
