Missouri National Recreational River
People

Humans have been an integral part of the history of the Missouri River Valley for a long, long time. The ravages of time have unfortunately destroyed most of these histories. However, the histories of a few are well known. Among these are early explorers, an early civil rights advocate, and a superb "Big Muddy" riverboat pilot.
