Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer opportunities abound at Minuteman Missile National Historic Site.

During the spring, summer and early fall volunteers have helped lead additional tours, provide historic interpretation at the missile silo, perform living history at open houses and answer visitor questions at the contact station about Minuteman Missiles and the Cold War. Many of these volunteers once worked with Minuteman Missiles and offer a unique perspective on how the Cold War was really fought.

In addition, volunteers have assisted with administrative tasks, cataloging museum artifacts and completing maintenance projects.

If you would like to volunteer at Minuteman Missile, contact Park Ranger Chris Wilkinson at (605)-433-5552 or e-mail us.
