A Minuteman Missile Park Ranger leads visitors on a tour at Delta-09.

Launch Facility (missile silo) Delta-09 will be open from May 25th to September 5th, Monday through Saturday. It will then be open from September 7th to October 30th, Monday through Friday. Visiting hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

A National Park Service ranger will be at the site intermittently to provide historic interpretation and answer visitor questions.

Cell phone self-guided tours are also available at the site. Visitors can use their cell phones to listen to a ranger recorded tour. There are ten stops along the tour which interpret the history of the site and Minuteman Missiles across the Great Plains region.

Directions to Delta-09

The Missile Silo is located off of I-90 exit 116 on the south side of the highway.  

If you are coming from the EAST: at the STOP sign, make a LEFT and continue onto the gravel road. The road will curve and the Missile Silo will be on the RIGHT hand side. Pull off to the right hand side of the drive and park outside the gate. 

If you are coming from the WEST: at the STOP sign, make a RIGHT and continue onto the gravel road. The road will curve and the Missile Silo will be on the RIGHT hand side. Pull off to the right hand side of the drive and park outside the gate.

Minuteman Missile National Historic Site is one of the United States newest National Park Service units. It was designated in 1999 and became the 379th NPS unit (there are currently 391).
