Minidoka Pilgrimage Closing Ceremony 2006

We want to sincerely thank you all for sharing your time, your stories, and for contributing your efforts to ensure Minidoka is a place where historic resources are preserved and the compelling stories are captured and shared with both present and future generations. The keystone of this plan clearly states that education is the overarching goal for achieving understanding and conveying the meanings of our basic historic lessons.

We encourage you to stay engaged and thank you for your support. We look forward to continuing our work together as we begin to implement the plan for the National Historic Site.

Did You Know?
The most notable topographic feature at the Minidoka Relocation Center site is the wide meandering man-made North Side Canal. For the most part, the canal formed the southern boundary of the 33,000-acre relocation center reserve.
