A group attending a tour at Minidoka NHS.
At Minidoka National Historic Site we strive to provide and facilitate quality educational, interpretive, and outreach programs, at both on-site and off-site locations.
Minidoka NHS is a valuable source of information and materials about the internment and incarceration experience of the Nikkei and the local community, as well as civil and constitutional rights, racism, and discrimination in the United States, and the fragility of democracy in times of crisis.
We endeavor to help teachers educate their students about this complex story. To meet this goal we have developed Ranger Programs and a curriculum. If you would like to find out more about our Ranger programs, please call our Educational Specialist at (208) 933-4126.
Also, please investigate our curriculum. Let us know what you think and any suggestions for improvements or additions you may have.
