Teachers attend curriculum workshop.
NPS
Minidoka National Historic Site teamed up with CSI and Densho at the Southern Idaho Civil Liberties Symposium to unveil the newly developed Minidoka curriculum.

Minidoka National Historic Site teamed up with Densho, the Japanese American Legacy Project, to develop a curriculum aimed at helping teachers to learn about and teach about this difficult subject matter. It is also geared to help connect current events to the World War II incarceration of Japanese Americans.

The units are designed to closely align with Idaho state standards in social studies and language arts, specifically in geography, U.S. history, and writing.
