Operating Hours & Seasons
 

Winter hours: Maggie L. Walker National Historic Site is open Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., November 1 through February 28.

Summer hours: Maggie L. Walker National Historic Site is open Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., March 1 through October 31.

The site is closed Sundays,  New Year's Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.

Did You Know?
Mrs. Walker’s partial paralysis, brought on by diabetes, forced her to be confined to a wheelchair. Not one to let anything slow her down, she converted a chair by adding metal wheels.
