PetsPets are welcome to enjoy the park grounds from dawn to dusk year-round, provided they are kept on a leash no longer than six feet. However, pets (except service animals) are not allowed inside any historic structures or park buildings. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up waste and controlling their pets’ behavior. Remember: Do not leave your pet in a closed vehicle in the parking lot. If you must leave your pet unattended, park under shade and leave at least two windows open half way. Bark RangersMake your pet a part of the park’s stewardship! Follow the B.A.R.K. Ranger code to protect your pet, yourself, and the park environment. By adhering to these guidelines, you can ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone as we understand that for many, pets are an important member of our families. Service AnimalsAnimals classified as service animals are individually trained to perform a specific task that assists any person with a disability. Service animals are legally permitted anywhere that visitors can go. Please note that emotional support, therapy, and companion animals, as well as service animals in training, do not qualify as service animals and must follow the park’s pet regulations. |
