Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area is open 24 hours a day, year-round. Lake Roosevelt NRA Headquarters & District Offices Hours: - Headquarters Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM-4 PM.
- Kettle Falls District Office 7:00 AM - 3:30PM - Seasonal
- Fort Spokane District Office 8:00 AM - 4 PM - Seasonal
- Closed federal holidays.
- Information, boat launch permits, America the Beautiful Senior, Access and Annual Passes (formally Golden Age, Access and Eagle Passports.
- Book sales and interpretive DVDs at Headquarters only.

Fort Spokane Visitor Center
- Located in the guardhouse on the grounds of Historic Fort Spokane.
- The grounds are open year round.
- 2009 Summer Visitor Center and Museum Hours

Mid-June to Labor Day
- Information, boat launch permits, America the Beautiful Senior, Access and Annual Passes (formally Golden Age, Access and Eagle Passports),book sales, exhibits and an interpretive slide show.
- The Sentinel Interpretive Trail begins near the parking lot.

Did You Know?
When the Grand Coulee Dam was finished and the lake filled, 11 towns were submerged. Every structure was cleared or burned. Soon, the rising waters covered the forlorn concrete foundations with water and darkness. Some towns died, others were built above the new lake, replacing what was lost.
