NEVADA TELEPHONE COVE ROAD TEMPORARILY CLOSED FOR REPAIRS

LAUGHLIN, Nev. - The National Park Service has temporarily closed Nevada Telephone Cove Road (Approved Road 9) from state route 163 to Nevada Telephone Cove on Lake Mohave in the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. This closure will last through 6 a.m. on Saturday Jul. 18.

Park service maintenance crews will be regrading the dirt road and repairing areas that have become nearly impassable. This closure will affect all land access to Nevada Telephone Cove. Access to the cove from the water is not affected.
