SEARCHLIGHT, Nev. - National Park Service (NPS) rangers recovered the body of one of the missing Pahrump men this morning after locating their 12-foot aluminum boat.  The man was discovered floating in the water about a mile away from where the boat was found at approximately 9:30 a.m. Saturday. 

Rangers have positively identified the man as one of the missing. 

Their boat was located about 5 miles south of Cottonwood Cove near Tamarisk Cove on the Nevada side of Lake Mohave.  Search and rescue operations continue for the other missing man.

National Park Service rangers began searching at approximately 5 p.m Friday.  The search was suspended for the evening at 10:15 p.m last night.  Rangers searched the Cottonwood Basin of Lake Mohave for 5 hours by boat.  Arizona Department of Public Safety searched from the air by helicopter.

The search resumed this morning at 6:30 a.m. with NPS rescue boats and an NPS patrol aircraft.

The man's body has been turned over to the Clark County Coronor's Office.  His identity is being withheld pending next-of-kin notification.
