Valentine Prescribed Fire
Ignition was completed on a 2,094 acre prescribed fire unit in the monument's southeastern corner on October 24th.

			Did You Know? Sagebrush mariposa lily ( Calochortus macrocarpus) is arguably the most beautiful flower at Lava Beds. It blooms in early summer and is usually found in open sagebrush areas. It ranges from deep lavender to white in color.
