The Theodore Roosevelt Nature & History Association is a non-profit National Park Cooperating Association. It was organized in 1951 by a group of interested park enthusiasts to promote and support the historical, scientific, and educational activities of Theodore Roosevelt National Park. This commitment has broadened to offer support to Knife River Indian Villages National Historic Site.

Did You Know?
Along with a fully furnished earthlodge, the park also has a garden that grows traditional crops; including blue flint corn, Hidatsa red beans, and multi-headed Maximilian sunflower seeds.
