Klondike Gold Rush - Seattle Unit National Historical Park
Management

It is important that the National Park Service not only protect sites for their natural resources, but also sites that provide opportunities to understand the various stories about notable people, events, and culture that shaped this country. Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park, created in 1976, is unique in that the Klondike Gold Rush was important for several distinct locations.
