The staff, volunteers, and partners of  Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve are dedicated to preserving the natural and cultural resources of Louisiana's Mississippi River Delta region.

Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve is part of the National Park Service within the Department of the Interior. Today there are nearly 400 units in the national park system, each representing some nationally significant aspect of America's natural or cultural heritage.
