Schedule an online meeting for your class, including these ranger-led activities:

 

Ohio’s National Parks PowerPoint - 20 minutes

Rangers will explore the 8 Ohio national parks sites with your class through a PowerPoint presentation. 

 

Google 360 Virtual Tour - 30 minutes

Rangers will use a Google 360 virtual tour to take students through the Garfield Home. A preview can be found here. 

During the tour students may use the Garfield Bingo sheet to find items in the home! Hint: 10 items can be found using the Google 360 tour. 

 

Earn the Every Kid Outdoors Pass

Students can follow this link to the Every Kid Outdoors Pass Website.

Click on the Get Your Pass Option and continue with the activity.

Once you've seen the voucher screen save the page to your computer. 

Send the voucher page to us at [e-mail] with the subject line 4th Grade Pass along with your mailing address.

A pass will be mailed out to you shortly after.

 

Chat with a NPS Park Ranger

 

Set up an informal discussion with one of our park rangers. We can answer questions about Ohio's national parks, working at James A. Garfield National Historic Site, what it's like to be a park ranger, and other questions your students come up with. This experience can be schedule for any duration.
