    National Public Lands Day

    Established in 1994, National Public Lands Day is the nation’s largest
    single-day volunteer effort. It is a day to celebrate the connection between
    people and their use of public lands for education, recreation, health and
    fun. There are many ways you can celebrate National Public Lands Day
    on September 28, including free admission to the Garfield site! Explore
