James A. Garfield National Historic site is most easily accessed from Interstate 90. From I-90, exit at Route 306. Follow Route 306 north for two miles until you reach Route 20 (Mentor Avenue). Turn right (east) onto Route 20. James A. Garfield National Historic Site is two miles up on the left.

Did You Know?
Queen Victoria of England sent a wreath for the state funeral of Garfield. Afterwards, Mrs. James A. Garfield had the white rose wreath dipped in wax and framed. It is almost 125 years old and can be viewed in the Memorial Vault.
