Basecamping

A campsite comprised of a tent, backpack, picnic table, and gear are surrounded by vegetation.
Basecamp is a welcoming sight for hikers fresh off the trail.

Basecamping is an excellent way to explore the island. Creating a home away from home with tent and gear allows for comfortable exploring. Instead of going for just miles, take your time and see what you can find. What can you discover with just a daypack and camp set up welcoming you back every night?

Not sure what to pack? Check out our packing guide before heading to the island.
