Mark Pederson (Artist-in-Residence, 2005)

About the Artist

Mark Pederson was an Isle Royale Artist-in-Residence from June 27th to July 16th, 2005. He is a painter working in gouache, pastel and acrylic. Mark has been a frequent participant and prize winning artist at the Minnesota State Fair Fine Arts Exhibition, earning first place honors in 1999 and 2002. In 2005, Mark was a recipient of the Central Minnesota Arts Board McKnight Individual Artist Award.

Mark lives in Elk River, Minnesota with his wife and 4 children, to whom he is grateful for their support and inspiration.
