For Kids
 

Children (6 to 12 years old) with families are encouraged to participate in the Junior Ranger Program. The Program objectives are:

Help children learn about Horseshoe Bend NMP and about the Park Service in general.

Develop in the child an appreciation of our natural and cultural resources.

Kindle in the child a desire to learn more about our heritage.

Program booklets are available free at the Visitor Center. Children completing the required acitvities will be awarded a Certificate and Junior Ranger Badge. The program must be completed while in the Park and is not available for groups.

Special kid programs are offered during the year. Check the special events page for upcoming events.
