Geomunoreum Lava Tubes in Jeju Volcanic Island and Lava Tubes, Republic of Korea

Several National Park Service sites have established "sister park" relationships with national parks in other countries. These partnerships increase information sharing to address many common issues, and promote international cooperation and collaboration to improve the protection, preservation and management of the sites. There are mutual benefits for both parties that share the common ideals of stewardship and preservation of the resources in their care.

Hawai`i Volcanoes National Park has entered into a Sister Park partnership with the following sites:

Jeju Volcanic Island and Lava Tubes - Republic of Korea - July 1, 2008
