Volunteers are Very Important People
Volunteers contributed over 17,000 hours to Haleakala National Park in Fiscal Year 2008. As a Volunteer in Parks--VIP--you work side by side with the National Park Service staff. And as a VIP you are truly a Very Important Person. You show people how to enjoy their parks so future generations can too. Think how much you will learn about a park by contributing to its successful operation
