Hagerman Fossil Council,Inc.

The Fossil Council is a grassroots organization founded in 1987 to support legislation in establishing the Hagerman Fossil Beds as a National Monument.
After that success, the focus shifted to assisting the National Monument achieve it's many goals.

Here's how you can help:

  1. Join the Fossil Council - Membership is only $10 a calendar year.
  2. Make a tax-deductible donation - Funds will go to projects and important support activities.
  3. Become a volunteer - Help with activities like the Council's booth at Fossil Days in the park, fund raising activities, and other events related to the Monument.  What are your talents?  Maybe you can help in ways we haven't imagined!

Did You Know?
Lake Bonneville overflowed its rim about 15,000 years ago in southeastern Idaho near the present day city of Pocatello. The Snake River cut down through the ancient flood plain sediments and deepened and widened the Hagerman valley.
