The bookshop offers a variety of books for all ages and interests.

BOOKSHOP

The Harpers Ferry Historical Association is a not-for-profit organization that supports education and interpretive programs in Harpers Ferry National Historical Park, and publishes educational material. This organization raises funds through the operation of the Park Bookshop, memberships, grants and donations. Volunteers for the Historical Association are also National Park Service volunteers providing information and orientation to park visitors.

Sales Assistant

Primary activities include assisting with sales and visitor service in the Bookshop, at the Visitor Center, or at tent and off-site sales.

Publications Volunteer

Primary activities may include assisting with research, copy editing, text entry, scanning, design, and other desktop publishing tasks for current publications projects. Familiarity with Adobe PageMaker is necessary, and previous experience in graphic design is helpful.
