Harpers Ferry National Historical Park
Archivist Volunteer

Archival experience is required for this position. Minimum time commitment is four hours per day, one day per week. Maximum time commitment is eight hours per day, two days per week.

Volunteers will work independently and in conjunction with a professional National Park Service curatorial staff on specific projects. The Curatorial Program at Harpers Ferry National Historical Park oversees a remarkable, museum collection of documents, maps, photographs, and images. This museum collection is accredited by the American Museum Association.

Did You Know?
On July 14, 1896, during their first National Convention, the National League of Colored Women visited the John Brown Fort. They were the first group known to make such a pilgrimage to this site.
