Evening Programs

Unforgettable Experiences

Ranger programs have been an integral part of the visitor experience at National Parks in the United States since their creation. All it takes is one look at the many old posters of our early parks to see "NATURALIST PROGRAMS" proudly displayed at the top. Here at Great Basin, we avidly continue this tradition of connecting our visitors to the land, cultural histories, wildlife, and other resources that make Great Basin National Park and the surrounding region so special. Not only are these great opportunities to learn, but to also stimulate you to ask questions, remind you of the day's curiosities, and yearn for more. The ranger will gladly answer questions about their program or what you are curious about.

Throughout the summer months, you'll find rangers providing evening programs at campgrounds and amphitheaters within the park. Topics will vary depending on the presenting ranger, but rest assured you will learn about this incredible park in a family-friendly setting.

Evening programs differ from Astronomy Programs, but are sometimes given one after the other. These evening programs often focus on grounded, non-astronomy topics.
