2026 Boiler Wash Schedule

The locomotive operating season runs from May 1 through October 21, 2026. Throughout this period, the maintenance practices for 1860s technology remain largely unchanged, with the same meticulous upkeep and reliability concerns still applicable today. Consequently, the boilers of these remarkable locomotives require periodic washing.

The boiler wash schedule below outlines when the Jupiter and No. 119 will be undergoing routine maintenance and will not be in operation.
