For your convenience, Glen Canyon NRA offers the opportunity to purchase your annual recreation entrance and/or annual recreation vessel permit through the mail.
Entrance to Glen Canyon requires payment of a weekly entrance fee or possession of a valid annual recreation entrance pass.
The America the Beautiful-National Parks and Federal Recreation Lands Pass ($80) provides access to and use of, Federal recreation sites that charge an Entrance or Standard Amenity Fee for 12 months from date of purchase. The pass admits the passholder/s and passengers in a private, non-commercial vehicle at per vehicle fee areas and passholder/s + 3 adults at per person fee areas.
Glen Canyon Annual Entrance Pass ($30) is valid for 12 months, from date of purchase. This pass admits owner/s (as signed on the pass) and accompanying passengers in a single, private, noncommercial vehicle. The passes are also honored at the Navajo Nation Antelope Point Entrance Station. These passes are not valid for business entry. Upon receipt, the owner of the pass should sign the back. Valid photo ID is required for signature verification.
Motorized vessels entering Glen Canyon require payment of a weekly boating use fee or should have a valid Glen Canyon Annual Vessel permit properly affixed. Each annual vessel permit is $30, and is valid Jan 1 – Dec 31.
Interagency Senior/Golden Age or Interagency Access/ Golden Access Passport holders are eligible for a 50% discount on the annual vessel permit for vessels owned by the passholder only. To apply of the discount, please provide the following to the Glen Canyon NRA Headquarters office:
- A signed copy of your Interagency Senior/Golden Age or Interagency Access/Golden Access Passport
- A copy of the current vessel registration (name of registered owner and passport holder must match). Please provide a contact phone number. Vessels registered to a business, corporation, partnership, multiple owners, etc., do not qualify for the discount.
