Glacier National Park
Pets

Pets are members of our families, but there are some things you should be aware of before bringing your pet to the park. Pets are not allowed on any park trails. Pets are only allowed in drive-in campgrounds, along park roads open to motor vehicles, and in picnic areas. Pets must be on a leash no longer than six feet and under physical restraint or caged. They may not be left unattended for any length of time. Kennels are available in several towns surrounding the park.
Snow can fall at any time of the year in Glacier

Did You Know?
Did you know that eight inches of snow fell during one night in Glacier's high country in August, 2005? The weather forced hundreds of backpackers out of the backcountry.
