What is cuter than a bug’s ear, builds haystacks, lives in the high country of Glacier National Park and may be an indicator of climate change in mountain environments? That would be the American Pika.
Lucas Moyer-Horner will provide a presentation on the status of the American Pika in Glacier National Park on Tuesday, July 28, from 12 - 12:45 pm at the West Glacier Community Building. Moyer-Horner is a Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Since 2007, Lucas and his crew have been identifying Pika habitat and recording Pika presence to evaluate their overall status throughout Glacier National Park.
