FireWorks Curriculum
 

Developed by the Fire Lab in Missoula, MT, this curriculm features ponderosa, lodgepole, and whitebark pine forests, and provides students with interactive, hands-on materials to study the forces that cause change in forests, particularly wildland fire.

The entire curriculum is on-line, complete with color graphics, on the U. S. Forest Service - Missoula Fire Sciences Lab website.

The FireWorks educational trunk is available for loan from Glacier National Park, as well as from Flathead National Forest.

Did You Know?
Glacier National park was named for the glaciers that carved, sculpted, and formed this landscape millions of years ago. Despite the recession of current glaciers, the park's name will not change when the glaciers are gone.
