NOTE: Although the distance from Silver City is only 44 miles via State Highway 15, the travel time is approximately two hours due to twisting and winding mountain terrain.

Getting Around
The Cliff Dwellings parking lot and trailhead are two miles from the Visitor Center.
Agave Thistle Needle  

Did You Know?
The Mogollon people used thistles from the agave plant as needles for sewing. This item is in the Visitor Center Museum at the Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument.
