George Rogers Clark Memorial behind construction fence.

The George Rogers Clark Memorial has been reopened to the public after more than a year of restoration work. The date of the reopening was nearly 14 months after the Memorial closed for construction. Click on the resources below to learn more about why the Memorial needed restoration work.

The George Rogers Clark Memorial was administered by the State of Indiana untill 1966 when it was adopted into the National Park Service. President Lyndon Baines Johnson visited the park and signed the act which made it a national historical park.
