Kids who complete the Junior Ranger booklet receive a certificate and a Junior Ranger badge!

Want to know what it was like to be a trapper, blacksmith, Chief Factor or other employee at Fort Vancouver?

Ask for a Junior Ranger booklet at the Visitor Center or at the fort's Contact Station, or click here or on the link below to download an electronic copy.

Using this booklet, kids can choose from seven different nineteenth century fur trade jobs, watch a video or take a tour, and complete two activities to earn a Junior Ranger badge and certificate.

The booklet is designed for 9-12 year olds, but younger children can complete it with help, and older kids and adults are welcome to participate as well.
