Become a volunteer at Fort Matanzas and help keep our fascinating history alive! There are numerous ways to participate in the programs, events, and daily life of the park through the National Park Service VIP (Volunteers-In-Parks) Program. At Fort Matanzas, VIPs help us with a wide variety of duties, from staffing a visitor center, to connecting children with the park through our Junior Ranger program, to bringing history to life with historic weapons demonstrations. Many of the programs we offer at your National Monument would be impossible without the support of our amazing VIPs, and we’re always looking for dedicated people who want to help us make the visitors’ experiences as memorable as possible. If you are interested in volunteering with us…
If you have any questions about the VIP program in general, please feel free to contact us. We look forward to hearing from you! The National Park Service is extremely fortunate to have over 200,000 volunteers donating their valuable time to its parks and monuments across the world. There are many projects and services that would never happen if it weren't for dedicated volunteers. We hope you decide to join our ranks! |
