Memorial Weekend (Sat, Sun & Mon) Ft. Larned presents largest living history event in western Kansas.

Labor Day Weekend (Sat, Sun & Mon) Another large Indian Wars living history event.

Candlelight Tour (2nd Saturday of October) Entertaining evening tours with vignettes from the Fort’s history. Reservations open two weeks prior.

Christmas Past (2nd Saturday of December) Free old fashioned Yuletide celebration with soldiers, hot apple cider, cookies, Santa and Christmas carols. 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Did You Know?
This original restored 1870's Army Ambulance was frequently used by Officers. The fifth-wheel design and extra springs gave it a much better ride than most wagons and was especially preferred by the ladies.
