Our Goal: The National Park Service welcomes people with disabilities. We strive to make our facilities, services, and programs accessible to all. Florissant Fossil Beds Visitor Center Reserved parking spaces are available with wheelchair accessible walkways to the visitor center. The visitor center, theatre, and outdoor exhibit area are wheelchair accessible. The facility has wheelchair accessible restrooms. Museum & Movie The parks 18 minute long film features subtitles and has audio description and assistive listening devices available upon request. Assistive listening devices and audio guides are available for the museum exhibits. Access Pass U.S. citizens or permanent residents with permanent disabilities may be eligible for the America the Beautiful Access Pass. This pass is good for the passholder plus three adults ages 16 and up. Children under 15 are free. National Parks: Accessible to Everyone National Parks: Accessible to Everyone is the National Park Service's website dedicated to showcasing trails, activities, and other features that are accessible at units of the National Park System nationwide. Service Animals Dogs classified as service animals are individually trained to perform a specific task that assists a person with a disability. Emotional support, therapy, and companion animals, as well as service animals in training, are not service animals and must abide by all pet regulations. |
